g4LDKh is an exhibition that was organised by ga-trippersh, an art/design community based in Sydney , Australia . 12 Sydney-based art and design students held an exhibition, many for their first time.
In the exhibition which ran for a week beginning on the 6 th of March, the main theme of gwhat is the distance between Japan and Australia ?h was explored by Japanese students studying here in Australia . A variety of formats were demonstrated, including illustrations, paintings, installations and video works.
A competition was also held during the exhibition to decide on 6 artworks to be exhibited in the Kinokuniya galleries an August, for the 2 nd g4LDKh exhibition. These votes were taken from our two guest judges (both professional art practitioners), as well as our public gallery visitors.
